I am sitting at the Magnolia Cafe in Jaipur while I write this blog. Usually, I take some time before writing about the cafes I visit, but wow. This cafe instantly blew us away, even before we got food and drinks. It immediately made our list of the best cafes in Jaipur!
The interior and exterior are immaculate. The cafe is located in a forested area covered by trees, while the interior is a mixture of simple and rustic. The best part? They also have an outdoor theater on the grounds; more on that later.
Before we dive into the most exciting part about food and drinks, here are a couple of quick facts about the restaurant, such as price, opening hours, and location.

Now for the exciting part, drinks, and food!
Drinks from the Magnolia Cafe in Jaipur:
Pooja and I love coffee, and it was the first thing we ordered as soon as we sat down. Overall the drink menu is a little limited, but the prices were really good – with everything coming under 250 for coffee. The drinks we had were:
Brownie Frappe:
The Brownie Frappe was amazing. Blended nicely and huge chunks of brownie throughout the drink. It also had an ample amount of coffee in it, balancing out the drink well. For me, this was the better drink out of the two that we got. But hey, it is pretty difficult to mess up a frappe. However, if you are looking for the best brownie frappe in town, Pooja says Brew Together in Jaipur has the best brownie frappe, hands down!
The only disappointing part about the frappe was that they forgot the whipped cream. Overall, it was really tasty and cost INR 220.
Hazelnut Iced Latte:
I ordered the Hazelnut Iced Latte because I can never tell if caramel or hazelnut is better! The drink came in a smaller glass which I was disappointed about. However, the taste and presentation did not disappoint.
With strong hazelnut notes, you instantly get excited about the latte before you even drink it. After you take in the smell, the coffee has a strong flavor that blends well with the hazelnut.
Although this was not as sweet and sugary as the frappe (which is why Pooja didn’t like it much), I still enjoyed the coffee. Also, for INR 180, I had nothing to complain about!
Vietnamese Cold Brew:
Vietnamese Cold Brew is a captivating and refreshing twist on the classic cold brew coffee infused with the vibrant flavors of Vietnam beans. The beverage has a smooth and bold base of carefully steeped cold brew coffee, made by slowly steeping ground coffee beans in cold water for an extended period. What sets Vietnamese Cold Brew apart is the addition of condensed milk, which imparts a creamy sweetness and a luscious texture to the drink.
Served over ice, this indulgent combination perfectly balances the rich coffee notes and the velvety sweetness of the condensed milk. The strong aroma of the coffee and condensed milk create an irresistible allure to the drink. Whether you’re a coffee lover or an adventurous drink enthusiast, Vietnamese Cold Brew is a delightful treat that will leave you craving more.
Get the delightful cold brew for INR 180. With drinks out of the way, we immediately ordered food!
Food from the Magnolia Cafe in Jaipur:
As we are huge foodies, we were excited about the photos from the Magnolia we saw online, as the food looked amazing! So, of course, we had to try it for ourselves; this is what we thought about the food we ordered from The Magnolia Cafe – Coffee and In Between.
Shakshuka:
Shakshuka is one of our favorite dishes, no matter what cafe or restaurant we visit! And let me tell you, The Magnolia Cafe did not disappoint with the dish. With a strong smell wafting from the saucy eggs, and decent portion size, we were excited to dig in.
Oh my god – was the Shakshuka good! It was a pleasant blend of spiciness, tangy, and sweetness. Nothing was too overpowering and was a nice balance of flavors from the first bite to the last. The dish is a base of gently simmered tomatoes, peppers, onions, and a fragrant blend of spices, such as cumin, paprika, and chili flakes, creating a rich and savory sauce. Nestled within this flavorful bed of sauce are perfectly cooked eggs.
The only thing I wish was different was the amount of bread they gave. Two small pieces were nowhere close to enough for the shakshuka we got. We even ordered another side of bread, but they were just as small.
Combining the tangy tomatoes, the smoky peppers, and the creamy eggs creates a culinary symphony that is both comforting and exotic. Nevertheless, the chefs absolutely delivered on this dish. This was our second time ordering Shakshuka in Jaipur (the first time was at Half Light Coffee Roasters), and it was the best by far! From portion to taste and price, this blew away the other Shakshuka we tried while living in India’s Pink City.
Overall, for INR 290, this is a great value dish! Strongly recommend!

Verdict: The Magnolia Cafe in Jaipur:
We loved this cafe in Jaipur! It instantly got our attention when we were dropped off at the entrance. With a winding entrance through trees and a beautiful garden, we were immediately happy that we chose the cafe to work at for the day.
With such a beautiful exterior and interior, we were worried about the prices – we expected it to be way too expensive. However, we were pleasantly surprised when we opened the menu from The Magnolia, as everything was reasonably priced and in our budget range (INR 200-700 range).
Another great aspect of the Magnolia Cafe was that it was nearby (about a 10-minute walk) to the Jawahar Kala Kendra, a famous tourist spot in the Pink City of India.
Overall, we were extremely happy with the cafe and strongly recommend it to coffee lovers! The restaurant continued to surprise us the entire time we were there. We will definitely be coming back to enjoy a day here.
